Landscape Abstraction

In 2005 I began to explore a direction, being, the way we might remember a place, not as a single snapshot, but as a collective experience through time. Destinations are assembled in a kind of surreal dream- like fashion.The paintings were intended to illumine how the landscape of a memory might look, and how that perception might shift and reemerge altered by life and seasons.There is a mystery, perhaps another dimension, where time and matter have a significance greater than we know.
